Michael S. Mitchell
Michael S. Mitchell has practiced in the State of Texas since obtaining his law license in November, 1993. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1990, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree with High Honors. He attended Texas Tech University School of law on a full academic scholarship and received his Juris Doctorate degree Cum Laude in 1993.
Mr. Mitchell's practice has developed to include representation of both debtors and creditors in bankruptcy. He has appeared and represented clients in hundreds of bankruptcy cases pending both locally and as far away as Chicago, Boston, Delaware and California. Since 2001, Mr. Mitchell has appeared on behalf of and has acted as outside bankruptcy counsel for several Texas law firms engaged in the collection of debts in bankruptcy.
A former partner in the firm of Campbell, Williams & Mitchell, PLLC, Mr. Mitchell has counseled and represented clients in non-bankruptcy matters involving taxation, debt collection, personal injuries, wills and probate, and other civil matters.
Mr. Mitchell is licensed to practice in all Texas courts and in the United States District and Bankruptcy Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas.
